So my 13 and 17 year old boys can't seem to get themselves up on time (even after me hollering at them for 30 minutes to get up) and are continually late for school (therefore getting detention for every 6 tardies) and this has somehow become MY fault! Granted the school district restructured the start time for the HS because of moving the bus barn from there (thus being the last stop they started later than any of the other schools) to a new grade school outside of town (about 2 miles from our house) therefore making IT the last stop and requiring the HS to begin about 25 minutes earlier than they used to! Before the middle school started at 7:55 and since it's about 2 miles from our house Jake could slide in there about 7:53 and then I could take Justin on to the HS in town and he's be right on time......now that Jake is at the HS they have moved the start time so the first bell is at 7:50 and they are late at 7:55.....which is about when we get there!
Justin wanted me to write him a note this morning saying we had a family emeregency so he wouldn't get another tardy and get detention! Of course since I wouldn't do it I'm now the mother from hell(lol) a position I've been in MANY times before!
It's always nice to start your day off with BOTH of your kids pissed off at you......it's easier than trying to keep up with who's mad and who isn't...ROFLMAO......
My mom is going to the Pulmonologist today because of breathing problems. Last time she went they said she only had about 60% lung function and it wouldn't get any better so I really don't want to hear that she's lost even more!

Last week I confiscated (on different days) an iPod and a cell phone from middle school students. They KNOW what the rules of the school are, but it's still my fault that they'll get in trouble with Mom and Dad. LOL
It's the way of teens.
You could arrange to REALLY be the mother from hell if you decided that bedtime needs to be an hour earlier because the boys have problems in the morning. Threatening it might work, but if not, make it real. LOL
